County Fair

This week (Sept 22-28) the county fair is in town. We brought the boys on family night. They had a farmers market there where the boys got to milk a cow, gather eggs, plant flowers, cut down trees, and pick fruit. Then they brought it to "Market" and recieved play money for their goods. Then they got to go to the gift shop and buy things with their money. They LOVED it. William loved the rides. Matthew liked certain rides. Other rides he was horrified but he was a trooper and did everything (he was tall enough to do) that Big Brother did. William's friend Halle was there as well. She rode some rides with William and Matthew.

William's favorite ride. He went on this by himself. Made Mommy really sad. He was not afraid at all. He loved it.

William rode the big slide by himself as well. It took him about 10 min. to climb the stairs to the top. The first time he carried the mat by himself and had the whole ride waiting on him to get to the top. The second time the workers helped him so it would go a little faster.

This was the first ride we put Matthew on. It was a little bumpy. He was not a fan of this ride!

This was the boys other favorite ride. William wanted to be in the engine. Matthew rode with Halle. He was hysterical. Everyone around was loving his face. He was a riot!

Gameday!

Here are our boys after we laid them down for bed. They are suppose to be asleep-Can't you tell?

Getting ready for gameday on Saturday. For the fall festival this year our boys are going to be football players. William a LSU Tiger and Mattew an Ole Miss Rebels! Are they not the cutest players ever?

Hurricane Gustav's evacuees!

Well, Hurrican Gustav did not effect us any, but all of Rebecca's family had lost power. So after a week without air Rachelle, Robin, Bryce and all of their dogs came to visit us. Rachelle and Bryce's dog just had puppies 2 weeks ago. So we had 3 people and 11 dogs thanks to Gustav. All of the dogs stayed out in the garage so it was not a big deal having all those puppies. We brought them in one day for a few minutes to let the boys play with them.

First Day of School and haircuts!

Well, very sad news! William started school last week (preschool that is!). He did so good and he LOVES his new school. The vcry first day he wouldn't even let me go in his class. He told me to go back home and he would ride the bus home. He has done really good so far according to his teacher. We will see in a few weeks if he is still teacher's pet. He has 8 boys and 4 girls in his class. Here he is off for his first day of school with his snack bag. He has to carry it by himself!
